1.Product Introduction Calcination Rotary Kiln
The Reduction Roasting Rotary Kiln is a high-temperature, continuous calcination system specifically engineered for iron ore enrichment. By precisely controlling temperature and material residence time, the kiln converts weakly magnetic iron ores (such as hematite and limonite) into strongly magnetic minerals. This transformation significantly enhances subsequent magnetic separation efficiency and increases the grade of iron concentrates. Featuring an inclined cylinder and slow-rotation design, the equipment ensures uniform heating and prevents performance degradation caused by localized overheating.
2.Application Calcination Rotary Kiln
Steel & Metallurgy: Processing low-grade iron ores to produce high-grade iron concentrates for blast furnace smelting, reducing dependence on high-grade primary ores.
Comprehensive Resource Utilization: Ideal for recovering iron from tailings or industrial dust, such as extracting iron from copper tailings to reduce waste accumulation.
Environmental Protection: Integrated with waste heat recovery systems to lower energy consumption, aligning with "green smelting" policies.
3.Working Principle Calcination Rotary Kiln
Preheating Phase: Raw iron ore passes through a preheater to remove surface moisture. A gradual temperature gradient prevents particle bursting.
Reduction Roasting Phase: In the high-temperature zone (700–900°C), the material reacts with a reducing agent (such as pulverized coal or natural gas). Weakly magnetic minerals are converted into magnetite, facilitating efficient magnetic separation.
Cooling Phase: The clinker is rapidly cooled to stabilize the crystalline structure and prevent cracking due to thermal stress.
Movement Mechanism: The inclined kiln body allows material to move axially during rotation, creating a continuous tumbling effect and a dynamic heat exchange interface for reaction uniformity.
