The kaolin rotary drum dryer is specially designed for drying wet kaolin, kaolin filter cakes, and washed kaolin clay slurry.
The complete drying system consists of a drying drum, heating system, feeding and discharging units, dust removal system, and transmission components. It can continuously and efficiently process large quantities of high-viscosity wet kaolin materials.
After drying, the moisture content of kaolin is uniform and stable, making it suitable for industries such as ceramics, paper coating fillers, paints, and refractory materials.
The dryer supports various heat sources, including coal, natural gas, and biomass fuels.
· Equipped with a special anti-sticking lifting structure, effectively dispersing sticky kaolin clay materials, ensuring uniform drying and preventing material sticking and agglomeration inside the drum.
· The drum body is thickened and wear-resistant, capable of resisting abrasion from fine kaolin powder materials, providing a long service life.
· Adopts a hot air circulation and heat exchange system with high thermal efficiency, effectively reducing fuel and electricity consumption.
· The entire drying process operates in a sealed negative-pressure environment. Equipped with a dust collection and recovery system, it reduces fine kaolin powder loss and meets environmental protection standards.
· Flexible temperature adjustment, fully automatic continuous operation, supporting 24-hour uninterrupted production.
· Simple overall structure, convenient disassembly and replacement of wearing parts, and low maintenance costs.
The inclined drum rotates slowly and evenly. Wet kaolin is fed into the drum from the feeding end.
Inside the drum, lifting plates continuously raise and scatter the material, forming a uniform material curtain. The kaolin fully contacts with the high-temperature hot air, allowing the internal moisture to evaporate efficiently.
The material gradually moves toward the discharge outlet under the force of gravity. Moist exhaust gas containing dust passes through the dust removal system, where fine powder is recovered and the purified gas is discharged.
The dried kaolin that meets the required standards is continuously and stably discharged from the outlet, ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly operation.
