The gypsum rotary drum dryer is specially designed for drying wet gypsum materials such as desulfurized gypsum, phosphogypsum, natural gypsum, and titanium gypsum. The complete drying system consists of a drying drum, heating system, feeding and discharging units, dust removal system, and transmission components. It can continuously and efficiently dry large quantities of wet gypsum filter cakes and powder materials. After drying, the moisture content of the material meets the required standards and can be directly used for gypsum powder production, building materials, and cement additive manufacturing. The dryer can be equipped with various heat sources, including coal, natural gas, and biomass fuels.

The rotary drum dryer operates with the drum installed at a slight inclination and rotating at a low speed. Wet gypsum is fed into the dryer from the feeding end. Inside the drum, specially designed lifting plates continuously lift and scatter the material, forming a uniform material curtain that fully contacts the hot air, allowing moisture to evaporate efficiently.
The dried material gradually moves toward the discharge end under the force of gravity. Moist air and exhaust gas enter the dust removal system for purification before being discharged. Qualified dried gypsum is continuously discharged from the outlet. The entire drying process is carried out in a sealed negative-pressure environment, ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly operation.
