High recovery gold froth flotation equipment for ultra-fine particles
1.Product Introduction Ore Beneficiation Equipment
The High-Recovery Ultrafine Gold Flotation Equipment is a mechanical agitation or high-shear froth flotation system specifically engineered for the recovery of micro-fine gold with particle sizes ranging from 0.04 to 0.25 mm (-400 to -600 mesh). It is primarily used for refractory ores where gold is closely associated with sulfide minerals such as pyrite and arsenopyrite. Leading domestic models, represented by the SF, XCF, and KYF series, feature optimized impeller designs and aeration systems. These units achieve bubble diameters of 30–100 μm and air suction rates of 0.9–1.4 m³/(m²·min), providing recovery rates of 95%–98% for gold particles between 0.01 and 0.074 mm. Certain models (e.g., the Jiangxi Hengchang SF series) are rated for 98% separation efficiency and support customized configurations for feed size, reagent regimes, and cell volumes (1–38 m³).
2.Application Ore Beneficiation Equipment
Sulfide-Associated Gold Ores: Ideal for micro-fine gold encapsulated or adsorbed within pyrite and arsenopyrite, where flotation is the only economically viable enrichment method.
Low-Grade Gold Ores (0.1–0.5 g/t): Serves as a pre-enrichment unit for "refractory ores" that cannot be directly leached, significantly boosting subsequent smelting efficiency.
Tailings Resource Recovery: Re-processing historic tailings to recover residual gold at grades as low as 0.05 g/t, aligning with "Zero-Waste Mine" policies.
Polymetallic Complex Ores: Enables the simultaneous enrichment of gold and base metals in complex copper-gold or lead-zinc-gold ores, enhancing overall economic returns.
Mobile Mineral Processing Systems: Can be integrated into skid-mounted plants for rapid deployment in mid-to-small scale gold mines across regions like Henan, Yunnan, and Inner Mongolia.
3.Working Principle Ore Beneficiation Equipment
Slurry Preparation: Raw ore is crushed and ground to a particle size of ≤0.25 mm and conditioned into a slurry with a 30%–50% concentration.
Reagent Conditioning: Collectors (e.g., Amyl Xanthate at 50–100 g/t) and frothers (e.g., Pine Oil at 10–20 g/t) are added to render the gold particle surfaces hydrophobic.
Aeration & Agitation: As the slurry enters the flotation cell, the impeller rotates at high speeds (200–400 rpm), creating a negative pressure zone that sucks in air and shears it into micro-bubbles.
Mineralization: Hydrophobic gold particles collide with and attach to the bubbles, forming mineralized bubble clusters.
Froth Enrichment: These mineralized bubbles rise to the surface to form a stable froth layer, while hydrophilic gangue particles settle to the bottom.
Concentrate Removal: A mechanical scraper continuously removes the froth layer to produce high-grade gold concentrate, while tailings are discharged via gravity.
Closed-Loop Circuit: Multiple cells are connected in series to form Roughing–Scavenging–Cleaning stages for staged enrichment.
4.Advantages Ore Beneficiation Equipment
Ultra-High Recovery: Recovery rates of 95%–98% for 0.01–0.074 mm fines, significantly outperforming gravity separation (<70%).
Refractory Ore Compatibility: The only technology capable of recovering encapsulated gold, solving the low-leach-rate issues of cyanidation.
Low Reagent Consumption: SF-type equipment achieves bubble uniformity of 90%–94%, reducing reagent costs by over 20% and unit processing costs by 30%.
Modular Scalability: Cell volumes of 1–38 m³ support multi-unit series to flexibly build 5–100 t/d processing systems.
Automated Integration: Equipped with automated level control, online reagent dosing, and PLC remote monitoring to minimize manual intervention.
Cost-Efficiency: Chinese-manufactured equipment (e.g., Jiangxi Hengchang, Anhui Zhongneng) offers high performance at only 40%–60% of the cost of imported units.
Environmental Compliance: No mercury or cyanide emissions; tailings are compatible with dry-stacking, meeting strict discharge standards for the gold industry.
