1.Product Introduction Jigger machine
An Alluvial gold mineral jig separator is a gravity-based sorting device designed specifically for recovering gold particles from river alluvium or placer gold deposits. By utilizing periodic pulsating water flows, the device forces high-density gold particles to settle at the bottom of the sorting bed while lower-density gangue minerals are washed away. This core gravity separation equipment is particularly effective for processing coarse to medium-fine grain sizes in placer gold mining.
2.Application Jigger machine
Placer Gold Mining: Widely used in geological environments like riverbeds, ancient river channels, and alluvial fans; it is the preferred equipment for small-to-medium-scale gold mines.
Multi-Mineral Recovery: Beyond gold, it is used to recover other high-density minerals such as tin, tungsten, tantalum, ilmenite, zircon, and diamonds.

3.Working Principle Jigger machine
The operation relies on the differential settling rates of minerals in a pulsating medium:
Feeding and Fluidization: The gold-bearing slurry (a mixture of water and ore) is fed uniformly into the sorting chamber.
Pulsating Water Action: A mechanical device (such as a diaphragm or piston) generates vertical pulsating water flows. The water periodically moves upward and downward, keeping the mineral particles in the bed in a "fluidized" state.
Density Stratification: Within the pulsating flow, high-density gold particles settle faster and gradually sink to the bottom of the bed. Conversely, low-density gangue, such as sand and stone, is lifted by the water and discharged as overflow from the top.
Product Separation: The high-density material enriched at the bottom (gold concentrate) is collected through a dedicated discharge port, while tailings exit from the opposite end. Advanced models (such as sawtooth wave jigs) utilize an asymmetric pulsation curve (fast rise, slow fall) to further enhance settling efficiency and reduce the "suction" effect that can hinder fine particle capture.
