The bauxite rotary drum dryer is a specialized drying equipment designed for hard and high-moisture mineral materials. It is mainly used for the dehydration treatment of washed bauxite, mineral slag, and wet beneficiation materials.

Working Principle

The dryer drum is installed at a slight inclination and rotates at a low speed. Wet bauxite enters the drum evenly and is continuously lifted and scattered as the drum rotates, forming a uniform dynamic material layer.

The high-temperature hot air fully contacts the material, rapidly evaporating moisture from both the surface and interior of the bauxite.

Under the combined effects of gravity and drum rotation, the material slowly moves toward the discharge end, gradually completing the entire dehydration and homogenization process.

Moist exhaust gas is purified through the dust removal system before being discharged according to environmental standards. The qualified dried material is continuously and automatically discharged, ensuring efficient and stable production.
