The steam heating rotary drum dryer is an indirect drying equipment that uses industrial steam as the heat source. It is designed for factories equipped with steam boilers.
Unlike direct flame heating methods, this dryer achieves constant-temperature and flame-free drying through steam heat exchange. The entire drying process features gentle and controllable temperature conditions, with no combustion impurities entering the materials.
It is specially designed for fine powders, chemical raw materials, lightweight materials, and heat-sensitive or oxidation-prone materials. The equipment is widely used in production lines requiring high product cleanliness, including fine chemicals, building materials, light industry, and other fields.
1. Indirect steam heating without open flame
Eliminates the risk of material burning, carbonization, and deterioration, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials.
2. Uniform constant-temperature heating
Provides stable temperature control with minimal fluctuation, ensuring uniform drying and precise control of final moisture content.
3. Clean drying process
No smoke or dust impurities are introduced into the materials, ensuring high product purity and a clean appearance.
4. High energy efficiency with industrial steam utilization
Effectively utilizes industrial waste heat steam, improving energy efficiency and reducing production energy costs.
5. Safe and stable operation
Operates without open flames, eliminating fire hazards and making it suitable for enclosed clean production environments.
6. Automatic temperature control system
Features precise temperature adjustment, low operating noise, low failure rate, and reduced long-term maintenance costs.
The equipment relies on a steam heat exchange system to absorb and transfer thermal energy, delivering clean and constant-temperature heat into the rotary drum.
Wet materials enter the drum at a uniform speed and are continuously lifted and loosened as the drum rotates slowly. The materials fully contact with the heated clean air after heat exchange, gently evaporating internal moisture.
The materials gradually move forward under the force of gravity, completing low-temperature and uniform dehydration throughout the process.
The original physical and chemical properties of the materials are effectively protected. Qualified dried materials are continuously discharged, while the heat-exchanged exhaust gas is safely released after harmless treatment.
