Double Shaft Log Washer
1.Product Introduction
A Heavy Duty Log Washer is a piece of heavy industrial equipment specifically engineered for the mining, quarrying, and aggregate processing sectors. It is designed to efficiently wash natural stone, ore, and aggregates by removing clay, silt, and other impurities. Its core components consist of high-strength steel rotating shafts equipped with paddles (or "logs"). Through the synergy of mechanical attrition and water flow, it achieves deep cleaning of materials, significantly enhancing the purity and quality of raw materials for downstream processing.
2.Application
Mining & Quarrying: Washing kaolin, limestone, granite, and other ores characterized by high stickiness or high mud content.
Aggregate Production: Pre-treating raw materials for concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials to ensure consistency in particle size.
Sand & Gravel Processing: Removing fines and impurities in manufactured sand production lines to improve the quality of the finished sand.

3.Working Principle
The equipment is driven by high-power motors that rotate one or more sets of heavy-duty steel shafts (paddles). As material enters from the feed end, the tumbling and scrubbing action of the paddles strips away surface clay and contaminants. Simultaneously, high-pressure water flows continuously to rinse the material, discharging the separated silt and sand as wastewater. Some models are equipped with "scrubbing shoes" (hardened steel wear parts) to enhance the mechanical removal of stubborn, plastic clays.
