The Heavy Duty Double Screw Sand Washer for High-Clay Silica is a high-capacity spiral washing machine specifically engineered for difficult-to-wash materials, such as silica sand with high clay content. Featuring a twin-screw configuration, it provides enhanced agitation and scrubbing capabilities for demanding industrial applications.

3.Working Principle
The heavy-duty twin-screw washer (also known as the LSX series) utilizes two parallel shafts equipped with spiral blades rotating in a water tank. Its operation is based on counter-current washing and mechanical agitation:
Material Feeding: A slurry of water and high-clay silica sand is fed into the machine's inlet.
Spiral Agitation & Conveying: Two spiral blades rotate at high speeds, intensely stirring, tumbling, and scrubbing the material. This design effectively breaks up clay clumps and peels impurities from the sand surface.
Impurity Separation: Fine clay, dust, and silt become suspended in the water. Since these impurities are less dense, they are carried by the current and discharged through the overflow weir at the upper end.
Clean Sand Output: The thoroughly washed sand is pushed by the blades along the inclined tank. As it moves upward, the sand is lifted out of the water, completing both the cleaning and dewatering phases before discharging from the outlet.
