Spiral Sand Washing Machine
1.Product Introduction
The Screw Sand Washer is a high-efficiency mechanical device designed for washing, classifying, and dewatering sand and gravel. Its core component is a spiral blade assembly submerged in water. As materials enter the tank, the rotating blades continuously stir, tumble, and push the sand, utilizing the difference in specific gravity between the material and impurities to achieve separation. Cleaned sand is lifted by the spiral to the discharge outlet, while impurities like clay and dust are discharged through the overflow weir.
2.Application
The Screw Sand Washer is widely used in industries with high standards for aggregate quality:

3.Working Principle
The operation of the Screw Sand Washer is based on a combination of gravity classification and mechanical agitation:
Materials enter the water tank from the upper section and are thoroughly mixed with cleaning water.
The motor drives the spiral blades on the central shaft via a reducer, rotating at low speeds (typically 20–30 rpm).
The rotating blades continuously stir, flip, and push the material, stripping and suspending clay, dust, and other impurities in the water.
Due to the difference in specific gravity, clean sand particles are pushed upward along the inclined tank by the spiral and discharged.
Impurity-laden wastewater naturally flows out through the overflow weir at the top of the tank, achieving solid-liquid separation.
