1.Product Introduction Rotary drum dryer


This is a rotary drum drying and grinding production line designed for Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate . It integrates drying, grinding, and classifying into a single process, making it ideal for the deep processing of non-metallic minerals and chemical pigments.Core Process: The system first dehydrates and dries wet materials using a rotary drum dryer, followed by grinding equipment that grinding the dry material to the required fineness.



2.Application Rotary drum dryer

It is widely utilized in the coatings, plastics, and papermaking industries to meet the production demands for high-whiteness fillers.


3.Working flow

1.Rotary Drying Stage

Feed & Rotation: Wet material (such as Titanium Dioxide or Calcium Carbonate slurry with 30%–40% moisture content) enters the rotating drum from the feed end.
Heat Exchange: The drum is equipped with screw propellers and lifting flights. The material is continuously tumbled and brought into full contact with hot air (heated by coal, gas, or electricity) to achieve uniform drying.
Discharge & Filtration: After drying, the moisture content can be reduced to below 1%. The material is discharged through the outlet, while exhaust gases are purified by a dust collection system before being released.


2. Grinding & Classifying Stage

Pulverization: The dried material enters grinding equipment such as a ball mill or Raymond mill. It is pulverized to micron-level fineness (e.g., 325 mesh to 2500 mesh) through the impact and crushing action of steel balls or rollers.
Classification: After discharging, the material is screened by an air classifier. Coarse particles are returned for regrinding, while fine powder is collected as the finished product, ensuring a precise and controllable particle size distribution (PSD).
