3.Working Principle Gold Ore Processing Equipment
The operation of the Gemini table is based on wet gravity separation, involving three critical physical processes:
Stratification: As pulp is fed onto the deck, mechanical vibration causes particles to layer by density. Heavy minerals (Gold) sink to the bottom of the riffles, while light minerals (Silica/Quartz) rise to the top.
Transport and Separation: A transverse flow of water washes over the deck. This water sweeps the top layer of light minerals downward across the riffles into the tailings area. Simultaneously, the asymmetric reciprocating motion (a "slow forward, fast back" stroke) creates a "crawling" effect, driving the heavy minerals longitudinally along the grooves toward the concentrate end.
Zoning: By precisely adjusting the vibration frequency, stroke length, deck tilt, and water volume, the materials separate into distinct bands. This creates a visible "gold line," followed by a middlings zone and a broad tailings zone.
