1.Product Introduction Rotary drum dryer
The Paper-Plastic Waste Rotary Drying System is a high-efficiency drying solution based on the rotary drum principle. It is specifically designed to handle industrial solid waste such as paper mill residues (ragger tail), plastic films, and plastic granules. By removing moisture, the system achieves volume reduction and stabilization, facilitating downstream resource recovery processes such as incineration, pelletizing, and recycling.

Paper Industry: Drying paper mill sludge and pulp residues to prepare them for waste-to-energy incineration or production of solid fuels.

3.Working Principle Rotary drum dryer
The system operates as a continuous heat and mass transfer process, which can be broken down into the following stages:
Material Feeding: Wet paper-plastic waste is continuously fed into the higher end of the rotating drum via a feeding mechanism.
Thermal Heating: Hot air or other heating media are introduced into the drum from either the inlet or outlet end (depending on the co-current or counter-current design).
Agitation & Heat Exchange: As the drum rotates, internal lifting flights (shoveling plates) continuously scoop up and shower the material. This tumbling action ensures the waste moves axially toward the lower discharge end while maintaining maximum contact with the hot air stream.
Moisture Evaporation: Thermal energy is transferred to the waste, causing internal and surface moisture to evaporate. The resulting water vapor is stripped away from the material surface by the moving air.
Exhaust & Discharge: The moisture-laden exhaust gas is extracted by the ventilation system, passed through a dust collector, and then released. The dried waste, now meeting the target moisture specifications, is discharged from the lower end of the drum to complete the process.
