Gold Gemini Shaking Table China
1.Product Introduction Gold Ore Processing Equipment
Gold Gemini Shaking Table China is a high-efficiency gravity separation equipment originating from China, primarily used for the separation and purification of gold and other heavy minerals (such as tin, tungsten, antimony, and coltan/niobium-tantalum). By combining mechanical vibration with water rinsing, the equipment leverages the specific gravity differences between mineral particles to achieve high-efficiency recovery of fine gold and heavy minerals. It is widely utilized in both large-to-medium scale mines and small-scale artisanal gold mining operations.
2.Application Gold Ore Processing Equipment
1.Gold Ore Beneficiation
Used for recovering free gold from raw ores or tailings, it offers an exceptionally high recovery rate for fine gold (below 0.04mm). It is widely applied in the roughing, cleaning, or scavenging stages of medium-to-large scale gold mines. In small-scale operations or artisanal mining sites, it serves as the core equipment for on-site processing, significantly reducing transportation costs.
As it requires no toxic chemicals like mercury, it is widely used as a substitute for traditional mercury amalgamation. This reduces environmental pollution and aligns with "Green Mine" initiatives and sustainable mining requirements.
Small-scale Gemini shaking tables are frequently used in geological or mineral processing laboratories for sample analysis and flow-sheet verification, supporting scientific research and pre-project evaluations.
Promoted in artisanal mining regions across Africa and Southeast Asia as an efficient, low-cost upgrade. It improves resource utilization rates while enhancing operational safety for local miners.
3.Working Principle
The primary application of the Gold Gemini Shaking Table is to achieve high-efficiency gravity separation by leveraging the specific gravity differences between mineral particles. Through a combination of mechanical vibration and water rinsing, it is particularly effective for the purification and recovery of gold and other heavy minerals.
4.Working flow
Shaking Table Operational Process
The raw material (pulp or dry feed) enters the high end of the bed through the feed box. Simultaneously, wash water is added to adjust the pulp to a concentration of approximately 25%–30%, ensuring the material is distributed evenly across the width of the deck.
The deck undergoes reciprocating vibration (stroke: 0–100mm; frequency: 0–100 strokes/min) driven by the transmission mechanism. Within the longitudinal riffles, mineral particles begin to loosen and stratify by specific gravity under the influence of water flow and vibration: heavy minerals sink to the bottom layer, while light minerals float to the top.
The lateral tilt of the deck (adjustable slope) allows the upper layer of light minerals to be pushed by the water flow toward the tailings side. Meanwhile, the bottom layer of heavy minerals is propelled by the asymmetric differential motion of the deck toward the concentrate end (opposite the drive end). A dual-channel design, featuring a water pipe at the center of the deck, enhances processing efficiency and sorting precision.
The mineral particles spread out diagonally in a fan-shaped pattern, with particles of different densities moving along distinct trajectories. Multiple discharge troughs are set at the edge of the deck to collect:
Concentrate: High-gravity minerals (e.g., Gold, Tungsten, Tin).
Middlings: Intermediate-grade materials suitable for re-processing.
Tailings: Light gangue minerals.
Concentrate can be sent directly for smelting after further processing.
Tailings are used for backfill or stockpiling.
Performance: The process operates continuously with a capacity of 0–5 tons/hour, suitable for ore particle sizes ranging from 0.01 to 0.85mm.
This process requires no chemical reagents, making it environmentally friendly and energy-efficient. It is particularly effective for the high-efficiency recovery of fine-grained gold (<0.04mm) and is widely used in the separation of gold, tin, and polymetallic ores.
