Shaking Table

 

1.Product Introduction

 

Shaking Table, also known as a vibrating shaking table or 6-S shaking table, is a key mineral processing equipment that utilizes gravity for sorting. It is primarily used to process fine-grained materials ranging from 0.02 mm to 2 mm in size and is suitable for separating various metallic and non-metallic minerals. The equipment mainly consists of core components such as the head (drive mechanism), table surface, slope adjustment device, and electric motor. The table surface material varies, including fiberglass and rubber, to accommodate different sorting requirements. Modern shakers often feature compact spring-box designs, supporting flexible adjustment of stroke (typically 8-36 mm) and stroke rate (typically 210-380 strokes/min). Single-unit processing capacity ranges from 15 to 108 tons per day. Technological advancements have driven process improvements, such as hyperbolic wave bed surfaces and double-layer structures. The latter significantly increases throughput while reducing footprint.

 

 

2.Application

 

Its applications are extensive, primarily covering the following fields:

  • Mineral Types: Primarily used for separating gold, silver, lead-zinc, tin, tantalum-niobium, and other rare metals, as well as minerals like tungsten, iron, manganese, chromium, and coal.

    Operational Stages: Suitable for various mineral processing workflows including roughing, concentrating, and scavenging.

    Processing Size Range: Effectively handles materials across different particle size ranges, including coarse sand (2–0.5 mm), fine sand (0.5–0.074 mm), and mineral mud (less than 0.074 mm).

 

3.Working Principle

  • Mechanical Motion: The motor drives the transmission mechanism, causing the bed surface to perform asymmetric reciprocating motion.
  • Stratification and Segregation: Under the influence of reciprocating motion, mineral particles on the inclined, multi-ribbed bed surface undergo gravitational stratification based on density. Simultaneously, transverse water flow washes the bed surface material.
  • Separation Output: Minerals of varying densities and particle sizes form fan-shaped zones along the bed's longitudinal axis due to the combined effects of bed surface motion and water washing. They are ultimately discharged from different bed zones, yielding products such as concentrate, middlings, and tailings.
