Mobile gold jigger machine for small scale mining
1.Product Introduction Jigger machine
A Mobile Gold Gravity Concentrator is an integrated and transportable mineral processing unit centered around a Saw-tooth Wave Jig. It utilizes the density difference between minerals to separate gold from gangue in a vertically pulsating water stream. Typically mounted on a trailer, chassis, or mobile frame, the unit is designed for rapid relocation between mining sites, making it ideal for small-scale or artisanal mining operations in areas with dispersed resources or poor infrastructure.
2.Application Jigger machine
This equipment is primarily used in the following scenarios:
Alluvial Gold: Recovering gold particles from the gravel layers of rivers and streams.
Placer & River Sand: Processing riverbed sediments and sandy mineral deposits.
Clay Deposits: Used in high-clay areas in conjunction with washing equipment.

3.Working Principle Jigger machine
The mobile gold gravity concentrator operates based on the principle of gravity separation, with the core process as follows:
Feeding and Pre-treatment: Raw ore (usually a mixture of sand and gravel) is fed into a hopper and passes through a Trommel Screen for washing and screening. This removes large waste rocks and breaks down clay.
Gravity Separation: The screened fine material enters the Saw-tooth Wave Jig. The jig generates an asymmetrical pulsating water flow (saw-tooth waveform), characterized by a fast, short upward stroke and a slow, long downward stroke.
Stratification and Discharge: Under the action of the pulsating water, the material bed is repeatedly loosened and settled. High-density gold particles settle faster, accumulating at the bottom of the bed to be discharged as concentrate. Low-density gangue is lifted by the upward current and discharged from the top as tailings.
Integrated Processing: In mobile wash plants, the jig tailings are sometimes sent to a Sluice Box for secondary recovery to maximize the total gold recovery rate.
