3.Working Principle Gold Separation Equipment
Direct or Belt Drive: The diesel engine is connected to the trommel via a heavy-duty gearbox, chain, or belt drive system. This setup converts the engine's RPM into the slow, high-torque rotation needed for the drum.
Integrated Pump System: In many configurations, the diesel engine also drives a centrifugal water pump via a "Power Take-Off" (PTO) or a shared drive belt, providing the high-pressure spray needed for washing.
Tumbling & Liberation: As the engine rotates the drum, internal lifters drop the ore through high-pressure water streams, dissolving mud and stripping gold from the gravel.
