1.Product Introduction Gold Separation Equipment
The Gold Trommel Wash Plant is the industry standard for alluvial (placer) gold recovery, specifically designed to process gold-bearing gravels, sands, and ores with high clay content. Unlike flat vibrating screens, the trommel uses a rotating cylindrical drum to provide aggressive mechanical scrubbing. This tumbling action, combined with high-pressure water internal spray bars, breaks down "clay balls" and cemented gravels, liberating fine gold that would otherwise be lost in waste tailings. It serves as the primary "cleaning and sizing" station, feeding enriched material into secondary recovery systems like sluice boxes, jigs, or centrifugal concentrators.

3.Working Principle Gold Separation Equipment
Rotary Scrubbing & Washing: Material enters the hopper and moves into the rotating drum. Internal lifter bars tumble the ore, while high-pressure water jets continuously wash the material, dissolving clay and stripping gold from larger rocks.
Size Classification: The drum is composed of perforated screen plates (typically 12mm to 25mm apertures). Smaller gold-bearing fines fall through the screen into the recovery system, while large, barren rocks (oversize) are discharged out the end of the drum.
Gravity Concentration: The "undersize" slurry flows over a series of recovery tools—most commonly Sluice Boxes lined with gold carpet, or Centrifugal Concentrators—where the heavy gold settles and the lighter sands are washed away.
Mobile Flexibility: Most units are mounted on a heavy-duty wheeled chassis with integrated leveling jacks, allowing the plant to follow the mining face as it progresses.
