1.Product Introduction High Efficiency Thickener
The Molybdenum Concentrate Thickener is a specialized gravity sedimentation system designed for the dewatering of molybdenum concentrates within the mineral processing circuit. It integrates a precision torque monitoring system to sense load changes on the agitator shaft in real-time. This enables dynamic control of underflow density and provides intelligent anti-clogging (anti-bogging) protection, significantly enhancing thickening efficiency and operational stability.

Concentrate Dewatering: Pre-thickening of molybdenum concentrates to enhance the efficiency of downstream filtration or drying stages.
Tailings Management: High-concentration pre-thickening prior to paste stacking, reducing pressure on tailings storage facilities (TSFs).

3.Working Principle High Efficiency Thickener
Sedimentation & Clarification: The slurry is uniformly distributed through a central feed well. Under gravity, solid particles settle to the bottom while clarified water is discharged via the overflow weir.
Torque Sensing: An agitator rotates slowly to prevent the sediment layer from compacting. A high-precision torque sensor mounted on the main shaft collects resistance data in real-time.
Intelligent Load Management: If torque values rise (indicating excessive mud density or compaction), the control system automatically adjusts the agitator speed or triggers a brief reversal to activate the slurry and restore fluidity.
Closed-Loop Dosing: The system links with the dosing unit to dynamically adjust flocculant intake based on the sedimentation state, achieving closed-loop process optimization.
