1.Product Introduction CIP CIL Gold Extraction

In modern gold mining, Carbon-in-Pulp (CIP) and Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) are the dominant cyanidation techniques used to recover gold from finely ground ore. Both methods rely on activated carbon to "adsorb" (stick) gold onto its surface from a cyanide solution. While they share the same chemistry, the sequence of events differs significantly to accommodate different ore mineralogy and project economics.

3.Working Principle CIP CIL Gold Extraction

CIP (Carbon-in-Pulp)

The cyanide leaching process is completed first, followed by the adsorption of gold-cyanide complexes onto activated carbon within the pulp. This achieves solid-liquid separation and metal recovery.

CIL (Carbon-in-Leach)

Leaching and adsorption occur simultaneously. Activated carbon is added directly into the leaching tanks, dissolving and adsorbing gold at the same time, which significantly streamlines the process flow.
