Product Overview

A Brown Coal Dryer (Lignite Dryer) is an essential thermal pretreatment system designed specifically for power generation plants. High-moisture brown coal (typically containing 30%–60% moisture) significantly reduces boiler efficiency and increases emissions. This industrial drying system uses thermal energy to efficiently reduce moisture levels prior to combustion, optimizing the entire power generation process.

 

Working Principle

Heat Exchange: High-temperature flue gas, steam, or waste heat from the power plant is introduced into the drying chamber (e.g., rotary drum or fluid bed).

Moisture Evaporation: As the raw brown coal contacts the heat transfer medium, internal and surface moisture rapidly evaporates.

Separation & Collection: Built-in flighting/agitators ensure uniform drying and prevent caking. The dried coal is continuously discharged, while vapor and fine dust are collected via a de-dusting system.
