1.Product Introduction
A Rotary Drum Dryer for fly ash is highly efficient thermal equipment specifically designed to dry fine, powdery industrial by-products like coal fly ash. 3.Working Principle
The dryer operates on a continuous, tightly sealed heat exchange mechanism:
Feeding: Wet fly ash is metered into the upper end of a slightly inclined, rotating drum. Specialized sealing at the feed inlet prevents the fine powder from escaping.
Fluidized Drying: Inside the drum, unique lifting flights and anti-sticking devices lift and shower the fly ash, creating a dense, uniform curtain of material. Hot air from a burner passes through the drum, rapidly evaporating the moisture from the fine particles.
Discharge & High-Efficiency Collection: The dried fly ash travels to the lower end and is discharged. Because fly ash is extremely fine, the exhaust system is equipped with high-capacity cyclones and baghouse dust collectors to completely capture the dry ash from the airflow, ensuring zero product loss and clean emissions.
